I wonder...what is the correlation between these ceramic photographs? I don't know how else to describe them other than as ceramic. White and ceramic with hints of pastel color and shading. I noticed you've taken quite a few and I wonder if there's a genre behind this or are these all in the same church? Is it a preferred material and if so, for what? Curious. They're always lovely.

The stations of the cross are one of my favorite subjects. I have been fascinated by them since I first discovered them long before I started taking pictures. There are 14 stations portraying Christ trial, crucifixion and death. It is sometimes referred to as The Way of the Cross. You will find a set in most catholic churches along the wall.

You hit the nail on the head when you said ceramic tile. That is exactly the look I was striving for. In fact I am printing up a complete set on 6x6 tile. I am still working on the process but so far I like what I see.
