Saint Francis in 1209 composed a simple rule for his followers ("friars"), (the
Regula primitiva
or “Primitive Rule”) which came from verses in the Bible. The rule was
“To follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and to walk in his
footsteps.”
Sounds like a good rule to me.

Good teachings. Interesting choice for photographing. I'm having a hard time looking past the haircut this poor man had to sport. I know that's beside the point, but Lord forgive me, I'm having myself a little giggle.
