St. Joseph Wapakoneta

St. Joseph in Wapakoneta is a huge church and I can't wait for a chance to see it on the inside. These are from a night shoot, so no inside pictures were taken. I actually took more pictures of the downtown and will post those in my Photo Blog Think Focus Click later.
We had just got our first snow of the year and I was hoping to get some good snow shots. This statue of Joseph and Jesus did not disappoint.

I have not seen it since it was "restored" several years ago. Back in the 70's the interior was a solid light green with very little decoration, anything would be an improvement over that color scheme.

I am looking forward to seeing the inside and getting some day shots. I could not find any interior pictures on the Internet. It would be nice if I could post some before and after pictures. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Talia,
The statue was one of my favorites of the night as well. I am currently not taking any classes. I earned my Cert in Film and have a PhotoShop class left to take to earn the Cert for Digital. I plan on taking it in the Fall.

Do you have any recent interior shots of St. Joseph's? I was baptized there in the 80's and haven't seen the inside since!

Thanks for all your great photos!
